    Time to be aired again

I put this on my page some time ago and thought it was now time to air it once again because some people not realising it do not appreciate the hard work ad dedication these people have in all our countries

    Paramedics.

Here's something I promised to pass on, please read it, think about it, then pass it on.

Sorry if we woke you in the middle of the night,

but someone in your neighborhood was fighting for their life.

Sorry if we blocked the road and made you turn around,

but there was a bad car crash with dying people all around.

When you see us coming, please try to understand

let us have the right of way, someone needs a helping hand

sometimes a child is choking, sometimes a broken leg,

sometimes a heart stops beating, and when we get there it's too late.

So if you see us crying when we think that we're alone,

you'll know we had a bad job and we're feeling very low.

We dont do it for the money, i dont care about the pay.

We dont do it for the glory, but for the life that may be saved.

Somewhere deep within us our souls are crying out,

"we're here to help our neighbors in their hour of pain and doubt".

God gave us something special to help us see you through,

we do it cause we love you, and care about you too.

    Paramedics want to save lives.

    FW: Male or Female?

    This is a good one!

You might not have known this, but a lot of non-living objects are actually either male or female.  Here are some examples:

FREEZER BAGS: They are male, because they hold everything in, but you can see right through them.

    !cid_AEDCC4D745994C83B35E86073C7C53A8@acera2gjrt6tf9

PHOTOCOPIERS: These are female, because once turned off; it takes a while to warm them up again. They are an effective reproductive device if the right buttons are pushed, but can also wreak havoc if you push the wrong Buttons.

    !cid_2E2B6A8381E4412DA5F9B2AFF2A302BF@acera2gjrt6tf9

Tyres: Tyres are male, because they go bald easily and are often over inflated

    !cid_EFE9417BBEE14490A4A23504AE9A35A6@acera2gjrt6tf9

HOT AIR BALLOONS: Also a male object, because to get them to go anywhere, you have to light a fire under their butt.

    !cid_93C1831BD9414C3EACC0554BA74D1374@acera2gjrt6tf9

SPONGES: These are female, because they are soft, squeezable and retain water.

    !cid_B9DB4C65E444416D83E75922FFE025E7@acera2gjrt6tf9

    WEB PAGES:
Female, because they're constantly being looked at and frequently getting hit on.

    wale-flag1

TRAINS: Definitely male, because they always use the same old lines for picking up people.

    !cid_75111F07D68743D5B264925E74017C37@acera2gjrt6tf9

EGG TIMERS: Egg timers are female because, over time, all the weight shifts to the bottom.

    !cid_C761E99510CA43809D588C1CCFAF0539@acera2gjrt6tf9

HAMMERS: Male, because in the last 5000 years, they've hardly changed at all, and are occasionally handy to have around.

    !cid_26256D8139734D11B675FD595023DE1F@acera2gjrt6tf9

THE REMOTE CONTROL: Female. Ha! You probably thought it would be male, but consider this: It easily gives a man pleasure, he'd be lost without it, and while he doesn't always know which buttons to push, he just keeps trying

    Sad news again

Sad news for Sheila one of her best mates died in hospital I think from Flue this flue is a very aggressive one that has gone through the UK making a lot of people very ill I to have been ill a couple of times but as I have the injection against flue it helps me fight it and makes it into a bad cold if you like but I felt bad for a while on two separate Times in different weeks.

Sheila spent a day in bed to ill to get up and if you know Sheila you would be shocked as I have been with Sheila over forty years I cant even remember her being ill she may have had the odd sniffles or two but that was it ,this time she had a bad chest she was coughing sore throat you name it .I am glad to say she is now back to normal .She was lucky enough to have been fit so she could fight it off her friend had been ill on and off for years with a bad chest she would go into hospital every few months on oxygen for her  own good but this time sadly they couldn't make her strong enough to fight this flue.

When we got up this morning I found a note pushed through our letter box telling us more bad news a chap we call Paddy died  that day we new this chap as he lived two doors away he lived here with his wife and son when we moved here over thirty years ago so it wasn't just a neighbour to me I felt very sad as though it was someone close to me even though we didn't see each other that much these days .as he spends all his time in the house the only time I saw him really would be when the ambulance would come and pick him up to take him to his day centre for the aged I think he would have a chance to meat people and they could access him and help him with any problems he may have.

We call our national health here in the UK but when we sit down and think about it I think we are pretty lucky to have it,I mean if I had to pay for seeing a specialist for my health problems  it would cost me a few bob as it is I have a nurse correct my neck probs and my spine has a few probs she stretches my neck to allow trapped nerves to escape now and then this alone would cost me I had a small op on my elbow a few months ago for a trapped nerve this was done in a private hospital the cost of the national health not me so the cost of a policy to pay for that sort of thing would be costly I think.

I used to have a private policy for things like glasses dentist bills and skeleton things like the stretching of my neck but when I sat down and took account of what I had out of it in the twelve months it wasn't worth it even if I bought glasses and had teeth out I would still be paying for it so it was worth me just buying my own glasses and dentist myself as the dentist was a national health one it was much cheaper for me so it was the obvious decision for me .

I wonder if any of the spaces friends who live in the States or Australia  or in fact any country could tell me how your system works do you have a national health thing or do you rely on a private insurance policy or are you all so rich you can just pay as you go my sister lives in Canada and I know her husband used to come back home when he kneaded something doing he would say he was on holiday and get it done on the national health as he was still entitled to it being from the UK but they stopped that little loupe hole some years ago .

our daughters husband died in Spain while staying in our holiday flat some years ago and I still remember my daughter saying that until she could get hold of the insurance company who they travelled with they would put him in a clinic for their poor where the visitors had to clean and feed the patient God knows what would happen to you if you didn't’get a visitor or didn't have any friends or relatives to care for you,as soon as she found the insurance and they took over he was moved to a very nice hospital close to a hotel that they put her in so she could be close to him

I think that all our Counties can and should pay for our health what do you think.

Well I think I may have got back into the swing of things and bored you all once again so until nexed time

Be good what goes around does come around.

Well my PC gave up on me

Well the dreaded PC we all love so much has given me some bad head pain this last few wk's nothing would work very well I thought I had picked up a virus or something but all the virus progs didnt’ find anything out of the norm apart from the odd spy cookie which are harmless but the lucky thing is I have a new PC thanks to my Sheila .

One of the things that went barmy was the first thing I could not get on my space good I here you say well IM  BACK  lol  so Poo

so glad I got this PC because I used to play around with videos so I can now do that again because it's quite a powerful model it's a Packard Bell three core with three meg of memory so good on my Sheila god I hope she didn't spend to much I know these things have come down in price a lot but this PC is good and it has a 19 inch monitor as well all shiny black to match the PC  wow ill have to get Sheila something nice in return any ideas out on spaces .

does everyone like the way spaces has changed I guess it is for our own good but having to join a network all the time is a bit of a pain and a few people have tried to go on my space and have not been allowed but with me not going on myself I didn't know if it was a setting on my page or not so I hope the people come back now I'm back online.

Well I guess that's all I was saying just wanted to see if I have anyone online who remembers  the old bore   lol so I guess ill have a look around spaces so be good and ill catch you later I hope.

    2009

    HI all
Well as you see the Aliens didnt take us after all so I guess you can count on me to bore you all again.
I feel a little guilty sitting here playing on my PC as Sheila is at work today being in the catering buissness they dont recognise bank hols as they can be a bussy time for them .

I am surprised that Sheila did go to work as for a few wks now she has had a  very bad cold  I to was bad for a few days I say cold as a lot of people say they have flue when realy it is only a cold I think that Sheila was on her way to a dose of flue as she was very bad with her chest ratling when she coughed that sort of thing but I dont think she had a temp and as she kept working she was able to fight it off .
she did stay in bed wednesday as it was her day off I kept her busy with soup of the day and flue powders and cups of tea
She got up at about two in the afternoon so she must have been feeiling bad as Ihave never known her to stay in bed she never gets ill with anything other than a cold so she is pretty tuff that way .and as I said she went to work this morning .
We had a little snow yesterday only very light the weather people reckon it wasnt the usual snow it was just a science thing as the power stations and cooling towers worked the warm air from them lifted into our skies and being cold air the hot air tuned into snow before freezing thus snow for a few mins over the odd town . I thought this was a laugh from the weather people but when you think about it we only get snow when the weather warms up melting the ice in the clowds.

Well thats what they said who am I to argue with them .
I seem to have lost contact with a lot of people here on spaces as the new way they have set it up I use to just flip to anyone and have a read now we have to get another page first go onto a link that sort of thing is it better well i dont think so but maybe I dont like change I may get used to it we will see.

I am enjoying my break from work I finished on the thursaday before xmas so I have had a wk now I neaded it just to stop thinking about the job situations at work so if nothing else it has done me good that way Sheila sadly has only had xmas day off so no hols for her she can take a wk off now if she fancies but I dont think she will  she wouldnt like to let them down that way even hols she thinks about them she has been working for over thirty years in that place I wonder if they will think the same way about her .
    I DONT THINK SO
    .
OK I guess I must have bord a few by now what ya mean pitty i wasnt abducted   lol so once again all the best today and for the rest of the year.
