11/29/2008 .Well it's freezing here in Manchester UK
I hate the cold and boy is it cold today even Sheila didn't want to stay outside shopping today and that takes some doing
I guess winter is really here well it is almost xmas so I guess we cant complain well not to much I am just listening to the new now cd called now 25 years it has most of the good songs on from the entire now albums so a good buy.
I like all that have been played up to now so im going to copy it for my van so I can listen in the day while working
I do like to listen to music while driving and I have been known to sing along to as my Sheila will tell you I guess she is used to it now she doesn't complain to me so I guess she doesn't mind .
I was going to have a look at my desktop PC today but I cant be bothered just yet but I will have to soon as my laptop keeps complaining that I am running out of space I am a bit of a junk man on here I tend to try things even when I don't need them and leave them on so I soon fill up my laptop only got small hard drive so doesn't take long
I have had to delete another remark on my space another add from or shop owner the remark was left on my last blog so I printed his email for all to see I guess hedidnt know I could find it but when you leave a message you can get it so lets see if that puts him off if not ill send him the fishing box see if Microsoft can stop him and our live spaces see if they will ask him to stop.
I guess he isn't being bad but it is very big adds and I feel he has no need to do it because I have about five WebPages and all free so he could set-up a free webpage foe his shop and adds.
never mind im not losing any sleep over it .
Last night was noisy police going up and down our estate late last night four police cars all together must have been chasing some idiot hope they got them and nobody got hurt
it's the ones that get hurt that had nothing to do with the crime that cops it them or the police hey never think of anyone but themselves just having a bit of fun I had a bad childhood come the excuse ,
Well I know lots who had a rough time when they were little and they turned out ok so that doesn't do for me just bad as far as I am concerned .
OK must have bored someone by now so ill go so if anyone has looked at this be good and ill be back
11/23/2008 Not realy a sport fan but well done RickyCongratulations Ricky Hatton
I have to say well done to our Ricky Hatton winning his fight in the USA last night
All his fans knew he would do it even after his last fight turned into a night mare for him I think forty five fights and he lost one not bad Ricky but last night changed all that coming back to his old form well done Ricky .
Well that's my bit of sport for the day Boxing I think can be a good sport as long as we remember its not only about hitting its about not being hit as the greatest boxer well my favourite boxer of all time is Mohamed Alie what a great boxer he was as he used to say float like a butterfly and sting like a bee I don't think anyone would disagree with that.
Well I still have not repaired my PC I am lucky to have my old laptop still working but no screen as the part that lights up the screen has gone bad on me so I have to connect it to my monitor but it's ok for now a little slow when I put a few words down I am ahead of the PC it takes a few seconds to catch me up lol and I thought I was slow.
I think my relaxing time for me is working I can now empty my head from all chatter in a few seconds with my cd playing and well I guess some people call it meditation some just call it relaxing im told by a expert that if I can empty my mind and pass a hour when it seems like a minute that I am definitely in a meditative state and as I am being able to control my temper a little better and feel a lot happier in my self I think that along with getting my blood pressure down is well worth the effort I think I maybe will try to go a bit further with it I may join a club if I can find one I am sure there must be one here in Manchester I have a old mate who moved years ago we were good mates he moved to Africa but returned to live in Hastings UK he now teaching tai chi, qigong and other internal martial arts.some of which you Meditate to get your mind focus on yourself first I may think about this .
My daughter goes to some club but I think it is a spiritualist club I have always been interested in this to so I guess I am a weirdo to some people I just find things that are a little less known to be more interesting that's all
Well moving on we had some snow today here in Manchester UK Its very nice to see it when your sat in front of the TV lol but I don't like the cold now days I would prefer to be to warm than cold so I guess I should move country wouldn't that be nice to just upsticks and go to my all time favourite Spain I can just see me now with my horse in the hills with my shorts on and then maybe take a little sail around the harbour before catching my own supper from the clear blue waters of Spain haa dream on Mike
Well maybe not a dream I can always win the lottery well some do why not me my Sheila won a hundred pound last night in bingo not enough to retire on but hey lets not knock it she enjoyed herself and got paid good money for doing so .mind you she soon spent it today on Christmas stuff not cheap now days Christmas when you have eight grand children to buy for but its only once a year hu then we start on the birthdays does it ever end nope.
OK I guess I must have bored someone by now so ill sign off and say be good and ill see ya later .

11/22/2008 NO ADDS PLEASEI am very happy when someone puts a comment in my Blog ,and when they leave a calling card to the left
However I do not want my left collom being filled with adverts from someones shop online.
This person asked me to add them to my friends list who I have not even spoken to thats ok I am a friendly chap but when they do it just so they can add there little adds or should I say very big adds well it's not on and as you see niether is your add.
if your add is for some help for our world then great I will do anything I can I will even help by adding my add but not just for someones money gains unless they intend to donate the money to a good cause I hope that the person who has left this add does not get upset by what I have said but this is a space for fun for help and not for your shop adds..

Mike 11/15/2008 .Well last wk wasn't the best of weeks for me
A moan from me no what gave you that idea.
Well maybe just a little because at work again I got back from a run in the van to find nobody on the shop floor as they were all in a meeting yet again .
As the Country is struggling with this decline in work so is my place of work not a lot we can do about it just hold on to what we have I guess that's if we can it's out of our hands really if they say we don't need you anymore ,at least that has not happened to me as yet .
The meeting was telling people about asking for volunteers for redundancy and if they don't get the people to volunteer then they will take over and ask the people who they want to go so maybe it's my turn next who knows I'm nearly fifty nine so I still have a few years yet and as long as I have not been offered a job from outside I am not going to volunteer it would have to be a really good package for me to do that I'm told i would get about fifteen thousand pounds so not a lot one year and its gone and as i get a few bob put into my pension from the company and I get the use of the van I drive it would be a lot to lose so I think I have made my mind up I'm not going to volunteer just yet All the agency workers have now been finished and some of the people who should have retired are only down as temps when they stay on so I guess they will be the ones to go first but who knows.
Well that was enough but when I connected my PC up last wk it gave up the ghost as my son stayed for a wk he used his PC and so mine didn't get used for that wk but when I put it back it started then went off and that's been it since I think the hard drive isn't starting as I only get the board message coming up the hard drive isn't that old but it is out of the warranty so I may start a fresh with a new case and slowly build another one as my system is getting a bit past it looking at some of the PC systems today mine is as outdated as me lol
did anyone enjoy the links I left for you if you did I have a couple more for you to try the first is a small game that you control a tank you have to destroy another tank from the other side I know its all about wars these days but this isn't anything like that its just a little passing of time for you try it its quite good.
The other link is to test how good your mapping is do you know where the UK is or America well you have to land a plane in the county the PC tells you don't worry you don't have to fly it just put your mouse over the plane and drop it where you think it should go.
you don't get much time to think about it so you have to be fairly quick to decide.

I thought you may like to have a little fun with this little cartoon quiz.
I have found this little gem for anyone who likes to send mates things on the net
as you have probably tried to send someone something only to find it's to big to email so you can sighn up on some sites to send but still to small to send what you want well this one lets you send a little bigger file and as it's free for a while you cant loose if you like it you can sighn up or not I have just sent a mate quite a large file and he has the link allready this morning cant be bad .heres your link

I dont think so not unless you have put a program on your PC to do just that
I once thought I had deleted information on my PC but my son went into the background and grought it all forward as you delete files you dont actualy delete them you change part of the file so as you cant find it and it can be written over when your hard drive fills but untill then it is still on your PC for anyone who looks into your drive can see. This little gem ever writes stuff so it is deleted

An old Italian man lived alone in the country. He wanted to dig his tomato garden, but it was very hard work as the ground was hard. His only son, Vincent, who used to help him, was in prison. The old man wrote a letter to his son and described his predicament. Dear Vincent, I am feeling pretty bad because it looks like I won't be able to plant my tomato garden this year. Love, Vinnie At 4 a.m. the next morning, FBI agents and local police arrived and dug up the entire area without finding any bodies. They apologised to the old man and left.
