Sheila & Mike's Little Place : December, 2008

Well what's to put well the weather is still being very cruel to the Uk we now have snow and ice for a few days now causing all sorts of probs on the road ,you would think we would be ready for it but for some reason we still drive as though it's a lovely summers day forgetting we may have to pull up fast at any time.

When I was on my way home on Monday I witnessed a accident I was coming up to a pelican crossing with a lady we call lollipop ladies because of the pole they carry it's for helping people to cross safely even on a pelican crossing with lights they have them now but on this ocation it didn't do any good as a little boy or girl not sure what sex got knocked down on the crossing .

I was coming up to the crossing but felt uneasy as the lady in charge of the school kids was looking as though she was pushing them out onto the road I slowed but they stayed as I went past the lights they changed to amber and then red as I past I looked in my mirror and saw the kids walking into the road and a car swerve to avoid them but I saw a small person flying through the air .

as a lot of people were present I thought I didn't need to stop I did flash a police car in front of me but he mustn't have seen me he turned left onto another road .

lets hope the school kiddies was ok if I see a box on the roads asking for witnesses I will go to the police station but I think with the kids at the same spot and the traffic officer on duty they will have enough witnesses .

I always look ahead for probs now as my father taught me to look for trouble don't wait for it to arrive and i think that was good I have been driving now for over forty years for a living so I have experience but i am still learning and I think I always will learn as days go on for me I have not had a crash as yet and so hope I never will but I will be prepared a little more thanks to my father.

It was nice to see a comment in my blog last time from a spaces friend who I have not heard from for a long time so I am happy H has come back to us and is feeling good once again and I feel sorry for you having to put up with all that heat your having lol why cant the world think of a way we can average out the weather around the world lol that person would be very rich in money and friends I think.

well as I say often I must have bored you all by now so ill let you get your heads back and ill see ya again at wk end so be good i'm going to try .
