Sheila & Mike's Little Place

Well i decided to have a go on spaces as i have been away for a couple of weeks ,well i have been in Cornwall for one week and at home for a week but have been taking it easy.

I thought i would have a rest from work and just laze around at home and as Sheila didn’t want to go anywhere well that’s just what i did.

We had a nice time in Cornwall the weather wasn’t fantastic but we didn’t expect anything else at the time of year we did have a couple of days with nice sunshine and we were out every day looking around Cornwalls harbors and beaches.We did a thousand miles that week we were based in a caravan in Looe a place i have always loved from my first ever holiday as a small boy I have been back with Sheila and our family before but not for some years it has hardly changed perhaps a few shops have changed the fronts on some getting more modern but nothing big the harbor still looks the same from when i used to hire a small motor boat and spend all my holiday money riding up and down the harbor  as i loved boats and still do yes one of my many wants in life would be a small boat something i could go out to sea in .

if you ever watch a program on TV called Doc Martin we went to the place it was filmed we went to his cottage and the school and the cafe that you see in it many times  it all looks the same as on the TV nothing different apart from the cafe seems to be closed and doc martins cottage seems to be empty maybe they bought it  and so leave it empty for future filming i hope so as i do enjoy the program.

We went to Lands End while we were in Cornwall we couldn’t not go as we were only fifty odd miles away or something like that a little added since we last went it just had a cafe last time this time it had a 3d film show a museum of doctor who and a few other things along with a old helicopter that you could walk around and a old lifeboat we had a good look round a shop that is now open that cost me a few bob  lol.

When we go back i have a few more places i want to visit so that’s for the future .but i need some sum first

Well as the title says have we been dumped or are live spaces looking after us as when i logged on i was told to change my account over to the new space when i first read it i thought i could leave it but after looking at it again it says live space will close shortly so if i don’t change ill lose it anyways so i guess ill change over see what its like i say ill change because i have already tried and it told me i cant have that user name as it has been taken  so i have emailed them see what they come up with  so you may get this or you may not  I’m not that happy about it because i spent hours putting all my stuff on and ill have to start again so i think this time it will be kept short but we will see .

not had a moan yet i hear you say WELL I’m okay still not got my weight back i started to then started to lose it again lol i should be so lucky i hear some of you yes i would be ok if i had not lost my strength as well i feel week even my voice goes squeaky some times how’s that no idea have you?.

I went to the doctors on Tuesday for a prescription and the doctor saw me she said i would like you to reconsider having the camera look around your stomach as i said no the last time she asked me because i have had it three times and they say the same thing and don’t do anything so I’m feel as though I’m going through all that foe nothing and it is a big deal for me as i cant stop vomiting while they do it and the doctor says it can be dangerous because they can cause damage to the stomach among other things but this time I’m being put out and i cant believe the speed i got the appointment for i went on Tuesday and had my appointment for the following week so yes I’m having it done at least this time they say they are spending more time while I’m out  .

ok i have had my moan and I’m sure i have bored anyone on here so i guess ill call it quits ill see if i can upload this to my blog and then try again to change over to this new site so if you lose contact ill have the same name and it will still be Sheila & Mikes little place at the top so if you fancy a look around our new place hopefully i will have dome the change nexed time your online whoever you may be.

I’m looking at my mail now see if i won the lottery as some lucky person here in the UK has won 113milliom pounds wow just think of all the good you could do with that and still look after yourself and family here’s hoping whoever that person is they do help some charity some where in the world and don’t just blow it on greedy things.

I received this email today and I almost fell for this as i felt so bad for this person ,I decided to go to this persons blog page and sure enough grandpa D was safely at home yes a friend of spaces who i have commented on his blog and he on mine and I’m sure on lots of you out there this man i find to be a good person and i found it hard to think that he would contact me as we hardly know each other , other than the odd comment on spaces but i felt so bad if i did not do anything but after going to his blog page i am satisfied that he did not send me this email as for some reason i cant leave him a comment on his page i hope he will see this or someone who is allowed on his page to show him this link ,.I hope to God that this is a scam and that i have not left him in any fear of not getting home but as i said he is happy blogging so it has to be a scam here’s the email i received,.

I hope this was a scam and am pretty sure it was .

Well it has been a while since i came on here to put pen to paper ,I think I can say nothing really has happened since last time except I have put windows seven on my PC  and I  have found out why I lost so much weight they tell me my thyroid gland is just boarder line ,I guess that’s better than being over the top but not sure what it all means to me .

I guess that the doctor is happy to let me get on with things as they would have given me some sort of treatment so good news I do have to tell them if I start to lose weight again I hope i don’t because I do not have anything that fits me every thing looks a little loose on me  my pants nearly go round my waist twice lol .

I am glad I have gone the way i have rather than going big it must be better for me to be thin than heavy especially with the probs i have with my joints , but the weight loss seems to have made my shoulders and hips hurt a lot more and the slightest knock and I’m sore and bruise very easy don’t know if that’s the thyroid thing or just the weight loss .

I can put up with the weight as it must be better for me but it has left me feeling week and i go light headed quite often now .

we shall see what happens .

On the work front they have introduced some new rules into the work place we used to be able to make a brew when we felt like it that has stopped we cant eat on the shop floor cant even have a piece of gum in our mouths or we get a strike as they call it three strikes and your out is the new motto so I now feel quite bad in the day as i used to have a nibble whenever i felt i needed it as if i get hungry i start to shake a little and feel drained ,no i am not a diabetic had lots of tests as that all though the same thing but no I’m ok my blood count is low they want me to have the old camera down my throat again i said no thanks because you say the same thing when i have it( very inflamed and you have lots of areas that are pitted) so why go through all that again just for them to tell me the same thing again .

IM still happy with our car runs very well in fact we went out last night only forty miles or so to Blackpool illuminations  we haven’t been in a few years but sad to say they have gone down  i mean they are not as nice as they were a few years ago I guess no one wants to spend the money on the light adverts so they are only putting up the old ones it took us about a hour to get through them it was a nice change but I have been used to driving a automatic and this car is manual so it got a bit boring changing gears start stop every couple of seconds ,When i first got a automatic i thought they were a lazy persons car but hey wish mine was auto now  never mind maybe nexed time i get one it will be.

I had a few problems this week our fire packed up the igniter for the flame stopped working and as it is very old i didn’t get the exact part but i did fit a new part with a them coupling while i was fitting it the fire now works ok as i can tell the difference in the mornings summer is going now so better to get the fire going now rather than later .We cant use the central heating as the boiler has also packed up the flame just doesn’t light when we turn on the heating problem something to do with the temp gauge i guess I will have to get a gas fitter in to take a look at that as i cant fathom out how to get to anything in the boiler side the fire is part of the boiler all one thing but it does split into two part s but i cant see where to dismantle the fire to take a look.

we decided to have a new fire in and a combination boiler fitted as they are much better and as our boiler is very old we have to have the heating on just to warm the water up so yes it is well out of date.

Well it’s that time again to go pick up Sheila from her Bingo only a couple of minutes away but i have to get there early so i can park outside  as loads of taxis park waiting for there fair so ill say adios until nexed time .
